Matthew 13:31-33, 44-52<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nThe kingdom of God began
with a solitary man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The solitary man
was a tiny seed of one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Growth began the hour
Jesus revealed his power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The kingdom of God grew
when Jesus added two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The kingdom grew some more
when followers numbered four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were twelve until the day
a follower fell away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A handful grew into thousands
and thousands into millions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nothing on this earth
is fully formed at birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From a tiny seed of one
a mighty tree was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We rose from the garden sod:
behold the kingdom of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
